Larry was so fantastic! He kept the dance floor full all night and incorporated our guests' requests flawlessly! His online planning tools made it so easy to select the most important songs for our night and create the very important "Do Not Play" list! Larry's style is so professional and the exact opposite of the stereotypical cheesy DJs you sometimes see at weddings. From our first meeting, we knew that Larry would be the perfect MC for the night and he certainly did not disappoint. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone! Thank you, Larry!

From begining to end Larry was professional and curtious. He followed all our request to the "T". We were rushed that evening as we had to catch a red eye to be off to our honeymoon. We hired Larry for our 11/26 wedding and were completely satisfied. Larry was very easy to work with and walked us through the entire process. He was a great DJ and MC. We were able to add the music we liked through his easy- to-use website and he played every single song we listed. He was great at keeping our guests dancing all night and I loved how he was able to get everyone on their feet at the beginning of our reception. He is also easy to reach and always got back to us when we had questions/concerns. I also loved that he wore a pink tie to go with our wedding colors (it's a personal touch). We only interviewed only one DJ for our wedding because at our first meeting we realized that Larry is by far the most professional and on top of it DJ that we were going to find. He is extremely organized and is also very to the point. Everything for our wedding was so structured with him, he had everything sequenced perfectly. Also, all of our guests commented about how friendly he was and he is very professional in appearance. We have already recommended him to two of our friends who are getting married this year. Larry is a friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient DJ. He personally met with us to talk about not just our music preferences, but how our personalities would shape the music and theme of our wedding. His technical knowledge is showcased on his website - featuring a very slick and intuitive request system that allows for a tiered ranking of your favorite songs, as well as a "unplayable" list for that one song that drives you insane. His wedding-day attire was spot on, and his ordering and flow of music was flawless. His announcements are clear, crisp, and to the point. No showboating here, just quality professional work. I would recommend Larry to anyone in the area that needs a talented DJ for their wedding.

Larry was great and incredibly responsive. We were very limited in DJ's we were allowed to use, but we were very happy with Larry. He offers a wide variety of music, and if he doesn't have a specific song you want he will get it. My cocktail music was perfect even though my description was very vague!

Larry was absolutely amazing! Best stress-free value we could have gotten. He made sure that the music we wanted was there, had very helpful online tools to help us make a playlist we wanted, he was really easy to get a hold of if we had any questions, and helped keep everything moving along as scheduled for the reception. Larry had every song possible to choose from for our specific playlist, and made helpful recommendations. He had a very appealing setup including lights, and was dressed very professionally! Larry was great! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He was professional and understood what we wanted for our wedding night. His website was very user friendly when picking songs. I have been to many weddings where the DJ is obnoxious and loud. I did not have that type of experience with Diamond DJ's Entertainment. Larry did such a good job that I forgot he was even there. He followed the schedule and made sure that my husband and I also followed the schedule. Larry knew what songs to play at what time. He is very experienced in what he does and I would highly recommend him to any couple who is looking for a DJ. You cannot go wrong with Diamond DJ Entertainment!

Larry with Diamond DJ was absolutely one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! He was quick to respond, has a very easy to use website that allows you to customize your wedding play list and the day of the wedding he makes sure you and your guests are dancing and enjoying every second of your special day! Larry interacted with my guests, keep people dancing all night and was truly a hit! I loved working with him and i HIGHLY recommend using him for your wedding!!!! :)

Larry helped make our wedding reception fun and memorable for us as the bride and groom, as well as our loved ones. He made the evening flow smoothly, striking a balance between entertainment and a sentimental feel. He was flexible and kind enough to allow my husband, as a musician and sound engineer, to make his own customizations with a live performance and self-recorded and produced first dance song. We were pleased with the quality of service all around!

We highly recommend Larry. He served as our wedding DJ and also set up and showed a wedding DVD made personallly and unknowlingly for the bride and groom. Larry did an excellent technical job, assuring that both audio and video were seen and heard by all. His willingness to tend to the particulars made the difference in conveying our heartfelt memories and message. And, we enjoyed his positive, upbeat personality and music choices.

Larry was our DJ for our wedding at Tivoli Too in Laguna Beach. When we first consulted with Larry, he was very friendly, professional, and responded promptly ro my questions. His website for music selection and reception planning was so helpful. The reception and all the activities flowed smoothly and the music was fantastic! I received many compliments from our guests on how much fun they had, most all stayed til the last song! My husband and I highly recommend Larry, he was a pleasure to with!

Larry was very familiar with the procedure at our wedding venue and prior to the wedding was very communicative and responsive to how we wanted things to happen.However, there were two things that bothered us. He did not time the recessional song per our request - despite several communications prior to the wedding day - and, in fact, was rather late playing it, leaving my bride and I standing still for a few moments like dummies. The other inconvenience was the 'artistic' freedom he allowed himself with some of the music. After the first dance he played two songs that were not on the playlist given to him, one of which was actually a song (Hava Nagila) that I was looking to avoid. I think that if he wanted to make changes/additions to the music playlist he should have run it by us earlier. Once I approached him about the music, he continued with the music we requested. Other than that there are no complaints. Music and order of events were handled professionally and no other issues were experienced. These notes may seem minor but on a night when you want everything to go smoothly, we were not happy with unexpected annoyances; which is why I would not recommend this DJ to friends (unless they make sure they include in the contract whatever it is they consider a MUST). RESPONSE TO DIAMOND DJ ENTERTAINMENT:I was incorrect about the lighting fee and I had deleted it from my initial review. As far as the recessional song issue: yes, our ceremony was a non-traditional ceremony. I did not think I should have informed you of that. I did, however, inform you several times via e-mail and face-to-face that I would like the recessional song played IMMEDIATELY after the breaking of the glass. You did not ask for audio cues and you did not mention that your view may be blocked by trees or other objects. This was not the first time you had performed work at Tivoli Too and I think if breaking the glass was not a good enough cue for you to play the music, then you should have notified me ahead of time. As for the rest of the evening. I did mention that most of the night went by fine. My problem with the dance music is that if you felt our music was non-suitable non-'danceable' or consisted of other problems, you should have alerted us ahead of time and suggested an alternative. Taking on the reins the night of the wedding is simply UNPROFESSIONAL. Whether or not people stayed dancing until 10 pm, 9 pm or midnight is not your concern. It is, after all, our wedding. We call the shots. We asked you if sending you the music list and not working through your online tools is ok with you, and you had replied that whatever is easier for us is fine. Of course, I did want to stop the celebration simply because of unwanted music and the last we wanted to do was attend to such problem during the midst of our celebration. The first chance I got (after two consecutive songs that were played were not on our playlist), I approached you as mentioned, and the rest of the night was per our list. The playlist that was sent to you consisted of over three hours of music, and not of all of it was played. If our taste in music is not to your liking, or you don't think the guests would like it, it does not matter. THIS WAS OUR WEDDING. OUR CHOICES. UNFORTUNATELY, IT WAS YOUR MISTAKES.

DJ Larry was the absolute best DJ I could hope for. He stuck to our strict playlist (which he has a tremendous selection) and followed through with our specifications for each part of the reception. He was professional as well as courteous, and my guests could not stop raving about how fun he made the event. If ever I, or my friends, need a DJ for anything, DJ Larry and Diamond DJ's Entertainment is who I will use. Hands down, the best around.
