It's great that everyone else seemed to have a great experience with Donna B's. I didn't. They never delivered my wedding cake. Right before we made our grand entrance at our wedding, the wedding planner told us that not only did the cake not get delivered, it was never made. Wow. Never made. On top of all that, they lost my cake order about two weeks before the wedding. I had to redo my order. They assured me that it would be at the wedding, even though they had lost the initial order. Donna B herself called me to confirm that I redid the order and SHE assured me the wedding cake would be at the wedding.Bottom line: it wasn't. I was heartbroken. The next worse part? She wasn't apologetic about it. At all. She never called me to apologize after my wedding, either. I had to hunt her down via leaving messages. She still hasn't called back my wedding planner. It's been two weeks since the wedding.Her reasoning for not even making the cake - it was someone elses fault and she was in the hospital due to stress. Ok, sorry she's so stressed out. But, I DIDN'T HAVE A WEDDING CAKE AT MY WEDDING. We had to pretend to cut a fake, styrofoam cake for our cake cutting, in front of all our guests.Her respons when I finally did talk to her? "Well, I was in the hospital for stress. Life is too short. I just can't worry about this. So I won't." Her reconciliation - she offered to make me a small cake to enjoy on my wedding anniversary. Um, that would be fine, if it wasn't already included. What she finally did? She sent me some gift certificates in the mail, totaling $100. That's a nice gesture - but it doesn't even come close to excusing or fixing her mistake. And the fact that I didn't have a wedding cake at my wedding.If you want to have an actual wedding cake at your wedding, DON'T use this vendor.

I found a cake online which was exactly what I wanted. While making a last minute visit to Orange County, we called Donna B's and they were able to see us the next day for a cake testing. The cake was amazing and they were able to do the exact cake I wanted! They were very accommodating and everything went very smoothly! I think one of the best parts is that they told us not to freeze the top tier of our cake because if we come back in a year, they will give us a free one!! They are definitely in the business of pleasing the customer!

One of our most favorite items of our wedding was the wedding cake. I first got a taste of Donna B's cakes at a bridal fair at Casa Romantica and quickly realized we HAD to get our cake from her bakery. She prepared a tasting for my mother, sister, and I at a later date so I could show off Donna's skills. She had such a gentle but energetic spirit. We chose a chocolate tiramisu cake and a raspberry bavarian cake. It was seriously "to die for"! Guest still talk about it even months after. Donna also helped design/ decorate it to my every wish. I can honestly say if you don't get your cake from her you must not realize what a mistake you have made in your wedding plans! Thanks Donna for everything!

Donna B was the best! We ordered chocolate cake with fudge, tiramisu and hazelnut filling (one of their specials). The cake is absolutely to die for (go taste it for yourself!). Not only does it taste out of this world, but the cake looked georgeous. I had a picture of a cake that was similar to what I wanted and Donna B spent a lot of time with me figuring out exactly what I wanted. It was absolutely spot on! Donna B is very responsive and takes pride in her work. I would highly, highly recommend Donna B.

Everybody was telling me for weeks after my wedding that the cake was the best part! I ordered the raspberry cream cheese and it was amazing!!! The best tasting cake I have ever had!!
