Irons in the Fire

The Beachfire is the catering vendor at Irons in the Fire at the San Clemente Golf Course. Chef Jeff and Chef Cathy are first class. They provide food tasting prior to event so you are satisfied with quality of food. The tasting was excellent. Very professional and it really provided an opportunity for you to know what your special day will be like. Service at venue was excellent, all served quickly, quality was outstanding and presentation was perfect!

We found this catering service through another restaurant, BeachFire.The food was amazing at the wedding (especially their appetizers)! The owner of BeachFire (Dave) was a super nice guy and he was really flexible and enthusiastic about our wedding. We really appreciate that energy in the wedding preparation process!But here are some small issues for their future reference:1. The servers seem to be too busy to serve water at the reception, so some of our guests had a hard time looking for the drinking water we paid for. 2. They were in the transition of switching a coordinator which was not that responsive most of time.3. At our final tasting, the waitress actually brought the bill to us and showed us the total cost of the tasting and then emphasized that the bill was paid by the owner of the restaurant... That has never happened to us in other tasting events, so we concluded that she was asking for "tips" which we gave to her according to the value of the food we tasted.Other than the above small issues, we really enjoyed working with BeachFire and Irons in the Fire.
