Lovely perfection. From even before our engagement, my husband and I had settled on Kristi at KLK Photography. Knowing her from our Michigan past and following her success and ability to take wedding photography to a new level, we were more than blown away by everything she has to offer. With as busy a schedule as she keeps, she manages to always respond promptly to questions, phone calls, and emails, all with a sweet and smile attitude....she cares deeply about capturing the style you want to create, and she captures it effortlessly. The images she provided with us from our special day are continually looked at daily. She went above and beyond what we hoped for, and after all the planning, it is such a relief to have such great memories to be able to page through. Kristi and Paul were so easy to work with and were always helping with every part of the day, be it from suggestions in how to move efficiently and sneaking us away for a little bride and groom shoot. High praise for such a wonderful girl, and spectacular photographer.

Kristi is AMAZING!!! My husband and I were blown away by her artistic capabilities, the quality of her photography and her passion for what she does! I really believe Kristi is one of the best in her craft and professional style. Being a perfectionist, I became a true bridezilla during the wedding process and would not settle for less than the best. My husband and I knew we had to have her do our wedding after seeing our the work she did for a friend's wedding, and I am 110% certain that we chose the right photographer. We will cherish our photographs forever. Not only is she an amazing photographer, her personality is also effortless and amazing. LOVE HER!

I absolutely loved working with KLK Photography. Kristi and Paul were such a pleasure to work with. Kristi really has a way of making you look your absolute best in all of your pictures. I just love her creativity. Her photographs are so much more than just a picture. They are more like art. Kristi and her husband Paul were such a joy to work with. I really liked how they find a way of capturing thousands of pictures without you or your guests ever realizing that they are there. I would definitely recommend KLK Photography to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

Kristi was the first vendor we booked and loved her back then and love her even more now! Kristi has been a joy to work with leading up to our wedding day. She, Paul Bennett (of Blue Sky Videos), and our 2nd shooter, Melissa McClure showed up early the morning of our wedding day and immediately started shooting. Because of timing, sunlight, etc, Kristi and I decided to do away with traditional pics after the ceremony and chose to shoot pre-ceremony pics and a first reveal -- we couldn't have made a better choice! Mu husband and I were able to spend a few hours alone taking pictures before the walk down the aisle and before the madness of the reception - where literally, you have zero time alone to just relish in the fact that you are married and talk about the day's events. Kristi had teasers in my inbox within 48 hours after our wedding! Now it's the long and impatient wait until all our pictures are done -- but I'm positive they will be worth the wait. If we were to plan all over again, I'd definitely book Kristi Klemens and Melissa McClure all over again!

I can't believe I took a whole year before writing this review for Kristi. However, the service that I got from her is SOOO AMAZING that I still can't stop talking about her to all my friends! We got married in Sept 2009 and we in fact did not hire Kristi to be our wedding photog. Unfortunately we had a VERY BAD experience with our wedding photog which left me extremely unsatisfied with our wedding photos. In order to make up for that, we decided to find another photog to do a "trash the dress" session and Kristi was the one we ended up picking! She is so nice and easy-going - we had an instant connection with her right after the 1st meeting with her. And not to mention that she is extremely flexible and in fact met us in San Diego (where we lived at the time) even though she works in the OC area. We wanted to do the TTD session before the weather got cold, but both Kristi and we had really busy schedule in the next couple months so we never firmed up a date at the beginning. In November, we were able to find a free day which Kristi was supposed to be free, and contacted her and she immediately said OKAY even though we didn't give her too much notice (something like 3 days in advance)! The day of the photo shoot.... it was SOOOO AMAZING. She is EXTREMELY talented! I'm quite shy in front of camera but she made me very comfortable and could just be myself. We wanted a combination of different backgrounds which meant traveling to different locations. Kristi was extremely accommodating and took us from Laguna downtown, to the Montage beach, and then ended in a field with cool scenery and lighting in San Juan Capistrano. I finally felt so relieved and happy that we had shoot almost everything that I had in mind. Just a week or 2 later, Kristi had finished editing our photos and they came out ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We are so in love with all of them.... so much more than our wedding photos! We are so happy that we decided to do the TTD shoot with her and would DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone!

Kristi is an amazing photographer! We really could not be happier with the photos from our wedding and our engagement shoot--they are unique, artistic, beautiful. Not only is Kristi extremely talented, but she is also very easy to work with. It was important to us that our photographer blend in with our guests and friends because we've been to weddings where the photographer basically orders everyone around--well, Kristi was so friendly and easy-going that most of our guests assumed she was a friend! Of course, we still wanted her to get wonderful pictures of moments we remembered and moments we might have missed--and she more than surpassed our expectations on that count as well! I don't know how I'm going to pick among the photos she sent--they are all so good! Any photographer can take one excellent photo--Kristi gave us hundreds of excellent photos! Best of all, Kristi really listens to you and works with you. We didn't want that many pictures of us--we wanted her to focus more on getting lots of pictures of our guests having fun. We figured we'd sacrifice getting that amazing picture of us, but we didn't have to--Kristi was able to get lots of beautiful pictures of us and then, as we wished, get lots of great pictures of our guests as well. We also had a fairly untraditional wedding and, unlike some vendors we talked to, Kristi was completely excited about our ideas, and made sure to get lots of pictures of the different things we incorporated that were special to us (she brought two wonderful assistants to make sure she didn't miss anything). The best recommendation I can give is that everyone who sees the pictures says, "wow, you had a wonderful photographer"! And I feel proud for finding her! Kristi is fantastic--I'd recommend her to anyone (I've already recommended her to a friend for whom I'm going to be maid of honor in a few months).

I don't even know how to put into words just how wonderful Kristi Klemens is! She traveled to St. Lucia for our wedding and provided us with 4 days of beautiful pictures that we will always cherish. The quality of her work is exceptional and I have never seen wedding photos as beautiful as ours. I have friends who had gotten married before us that said they wished their wedding was after ours so they could've stolen our photographer! I feel bad because they liked their pictures until they saw ours! Kristi was always in the right spot at the right time. There were moments that I cannot believe she captured because they happened in a split second and the pictures were just stunning! Every emotion my husband and I felt, as well as our guests, was reflected in our pictures. On top of her phenomenal work, Kristi is just an awesome person. She blends into a group very easily, but always remains professional--a very tough line to walk. It was quite impressive! She is super sweet and so pleasant to work with. I highly highly highly recommend Kristi Klemens to anyone who is looking for a photographer. Whether it's for a wedding, engagement shots, pregnancy pictures, or any important event in your life. Her work is a step above the rest and I promise you will be super happy with your choice. Thank you for EVERYTHING Kristi!

Kristi Klemens is an amazing photographer!! She was by far the best investment we made for our wedding. She is incredibly talented and diligent, has a great artistic eye, and has the best energetic personality. We didn't want the standard cookie cutter, posed wedding photos so Kristi was the perfect choice for us. She is artistic, photojournalistic, and creative. I would have no hesitation in recommending KLK Photography!!

WOW is all I can say about Kristi and her amazing talent! We hired her immediately after meeting with her because her bright personality just fit with us right away. We just received our engagement photo teasers back and they are so awesome! Kristi is such a great artist. We absolutely can not wait to see what she does for our wedding in October! Kristi is, by far, the best investment we've made for our wedding! I HIGHLY recommend this photographer! UPDATED review: Our wedding has now passed and we've received our teaser photos from Kristi and I continue to be amazed by her! She is so, so talented and hard working. She worked tirelessly throughout the wedding and was everywhere all at once. But I can honestly say that I don't remember seeing her much during the wedding...a good thing! :) She caught every moment but we didn't even notice she was there - she's that good! I would, without a doubt, recommend Kristi as a photographer. She is sweet, energetic, talented, and a perfectionist. We love Kristi! :)

Kristi is too fabulous to describe. She clearly has a passion for what she does and it shows. Many photographers are good out there, but her love for her works trumps all the others. I was impressed with her prices and her quickness to getting back to me when needed. The compliments are still coming in on our wedding pictures, and already many of my friends have booked her from just seeing our pictures. If you are a bride unsure of who to use for your photography you must give Kristi a call. A wedding is a once in a lifetime event that you don't get to "do over". So make those photos fantastic and ones that you will want to show off for a lifetime!

Kristi was so awesome from day 1. I had interviewed several photographers in So Cal, but after my first meeting Kristi, I was sure I wanted to go with her. Her portfolio was amazing and she was super friendly and easy to get along with even from the beginning! She was open to different ideas for the engagement shoot and tried to be as flexible as she could in the midst of her busy schedule! Her wedding photography style was exactly what I was looking for in my wedding photos -- she provided all the "traditional" wedding shots as well as really artistic portraits that I was really looking for. After our awesome e-session as well as wedding day experience, we decided to do a Trash The Dress shoot with her. The result was amazing and I could not have asked for anything more in my photographer. I've posted several of my wedding photos by Kristi on my personal blog, and all my friends RAVE about how great the photos turned out. Very highly recommended!!

I was not able to use Kristi for my wedding (we had already booked our photographer when we found her), but I was so excited to have Kristi shoot some beautiful boudoir photographs which I was able to give to my husband-to-be on our wedding day. Kristi is just amazing with a low-key style and a very artistic eye. Her portraits are just amazing and she has a lot of fun with what she does. I hope to work with her again and recommend everyone to her wonderful work. This girl is AMAZINGLY talented!

Kristi Klemen is one of the most talented wedding photographer I know! We interviewed about half a dozen photographers before we found Kristi. Her work is like a piece of art... beautiful, edgy and unique. We're both so glad we found her! She was the perfect person.. sweet, fun, and talented!
