Makeup By Liz

I have had my makeup done so many times where I didn't care for it, so I did a lot of research before I contacted Liz. Not only is she an amazing artist, but she is such a warm person. I had one trial with her and decided to try a dramatic look. She did a gorgeous job, but I later decided I shouldn't try to go too far beyond my usual look for my wedding day. I knew that I wanted to use Liz, so I asked her if I could do a second trial to go with a more natural look. She suggested trying a different makeup and I loved it. Liz scheduled me in even during a very difficult time with her family and even came to my location. The day of the wedding, she was very professional and brought an assistant to help with all the bridesmaids. I really felt beautiful, and the makeup held up all day long without touch-ups - even in the rain! On top of being truly talented, Liz also has a very calming presence, something that is highly valued on your wedding day!

Liz was fantastic! She is a very sweet and down to earth person. She makes you feel like you've known her for years. Her artistic abilities will leave you in awe with how beautiful you will look and feel! You will not go wrong with Liz!

Liz was amazing! I absolutely loved my makeup for my wedding! Everyone commented on it! She also did several of my bridesmaids and even my mom who never wears makeup. She made us all feel super comfortable and she knew exactly what colors looked best on everyones skin. I have used for her other occasions as well and she will always be my go to makeup girl!

Liz was awesome through and through. I felt as though she made me feel like a friend rather than just another client. My wedding day was perfect thanks to her services, my makeup was absolutey gorgeous as well as my bridesmaids. Liz arrived before my scheduled time which made my day easier. Overall Liz will always be one of my best memories of my wedding day.

I was fortunate enough to find vendors that I love. The one area that stressed me out the most was booking a make up artist. I do not have enough fingers to count how many make up artists I've emailed, inquired, contacted, looked at etc. Most of the make up artists I've called would tell me they are available but then then email me later on to say they've booked another wedding and their lead artists would have to do my make up instead then later on email me and say their junior artists would have to do my make up instead. Some of them offer free trials but I live in Anaheim and the free trial is all the way in the City of Industry at 3 pm (traffic) or Pasadena. I was very close to saying forget it and doing my own makeup instead. But, I tried one more time and I came across Liz's website. I knew she was different right away because she responded to me within a day. She was full of information and she kept it simple and to the point. We scheduled a free trial and when I asked her where to meet her, she said she would actually be coming to me!!!! She did my free trial and my sister in law and I had a blast. She is a character! She is funny and witty. She is a very entertaining person and I felt very comfortable sitting on the make up chair while she worked her magic. She knows make up very well! I immediately booked her and on my wedding day, she was on time and professional. Everyone loved my makeup and I had Liz to thank for all of it!

I am a hair and makeup stylist myself so you can imagine how extremely picky I was in selecting my makeup artist for my very own wedding! Liz was honestly a blessing and the very best decision i made throughout all of my wedding planning! Not only is she amazing at makeup but she is so genuine, so caring, so flexible and just overall an amazing person! If you want you and your wedding party to be absolutely stunning she should be your first choice! Thanks a million Liz!

I was married on 2/19/11. I hired Liz to do my make-up out of everyone else I looked at for a couple of reasons. 1. She came with a great referral. 2. I wanted someone who had style themselves. If your make-up artist is well groomed and always looks good, chances are they are up to speed on the latest looks and styles and will give you what you want. 3. I didn't want minimalist make-up, or cookie cutter wedding make-up. I wanted to look glamorous and HOT! I wanted someone who knew make-up like the back of thier hand, was hip with the latest and greatest and who knew how to accentuate my features. Liz did my make-up for my engagement photos and my wedding. She did a fantastic job! I have so many skin flaws (acne scars, hyperpigmentation) and Liz airbrushed me to perfection. She made my eyes pop and gave me the tools to make sure I looked fresh all night. All the gals, including my photog were impressed at how prepared she was with make-up (she had a large inventory of make-up)and how skilled she was at making everyone look glam. I'd hire her again for any other special occasion. Price wise she's a little more on the expensive side but she's worth it. She's awesome!!!

Liz is phenomenal! If anyone says Liz is expensive, it is NOT true. The saying does go...you get what you pay for and you definitely get the superb results from Liz. You won't regret it! Most hair and makeup places will trypically charge around $400 for both services, Liz's price is right in there when you break it up between the two services. I had shopped around for someone who could do both makeup and hair for my wedding and I am so happy that I decided to go with Liz who did just makeup only. I think I am a very hard person to please and I wanted to be guaranteed with a person who was a professional and expert at what they do and Liz was that person! Not only did she do such a beautiful job, her personality and energy was absolutely delightful to have around. I definitely would recommend her to anyone who's looking for a makeup artist for their wedding (or engagement shoot!).

Liz is an absolutely amazing make-up artist! I am a wedding coordinator and I refer all my brides to her and not once have we been disappointed! They all have been more than satisfied and looked incredible on their wedding day! Liz is amazing, I was so excited to have her do my makeup the day of my wedding. My husband now, said that I looked so beautiful that evening while i walked down the isle and that he will never forget that particular moment. I also hired Liz to do my makeup for the engagement pictures and I loved it. It's hard to find an artist that can manage doing several tasks like Liz. She's very entertaining, can work on hair, specializes on makeup, but never limits herself to how much she can accomplish during her sessions. Hopefully an engagement comes up soon, so that i can have her back for a couple of hours...lol! Love you Liz.

Make up by Liz is amazing. I would recommend her for any event that you want to look absolutely stunning for! She did my makeup for my engagement pictures and my wedding day, both times it looked perfect. I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I got on my wedding day about my makeup and compliments when people see our pictures! She is so talented and really listens to exactly what you want. Liz is simply the best! The makeup on my wedding was so beautiful and I received/receive so many compliments. Not only did she do a great job on me but on all my bridesmaids. Liz is such an amazing makeup artist.She is super beyond flexible and travels to where you are, which makes it easy on the bride to be.I loved how for the practice run through day,she treats it like your actual wedding day.On my practice run through I told her ideas of how I wanted my makeup to look,and showed her a couple of picture ideas and it was just unbelievable how flawless she made it all.From my face getting airbrushed to all the blending in my eyeshadow,and the eyelashes.I was just so amazed and excited to get my makeup done on my actual wedding day by her.She is such a perfectionist and so professional in her work.I still to this day get so many compliments on how gorgeous my makeup was done on my wedding day.I would have Liz do my makeup for any major event,and definitely give her name out to any woman asking for a makeup artist.

Liz is AMAZING!!!!!!!! After searching forever I came across Liz. She is very quick at responding to you and sooo understanding!!! She did my trial and told her what I was thinking and it came out really great. She used airbrush (which looks so nice) and fake eyelashes the day of the trial as well. On my wedding day 8/14/10 she was so great with me and my family and everyone loved her. She did mine, my sisters, mom, stepmom and aunt's makeup and is was so beautiful!! I did not need to touch up at all and I got so many compliments on my makeup. I would recommend her to anyone and will be using her again =)

I found Makeup By Liz at a Bridal Fare and had no feedback from others on what to expect but to go off of my own instincts. Liz was my makeup artist and she was great! I wish I had more reasons to use her services. Our arrangement was a trial and wedding day makeup package. For my trial things at home were crazy yet Liz was able to work thru all the choas & gave me a beautiful & flawless look. On my wedding day she met me at my venue and delivered a look that worked perfect for me and my skin type. Friends commented on the day of my wedding how great I looked but afterwards many emphasized specifically how good my makeup looked, which I totally agreed. Liz was so wonderful and a Godsend for my wedding day!!! She made my special day a dream come true, my makeup was flawless. I still get compliments on my makeup when people look at my wedding album.
