Mike and the MV team conspired with my fiance to trick me into believing that they were filming me for a reality TV show, when in fact they were there to capture my engagement on film! The fantastic thing about having Mike there that day was that when my memorable event was over, I could take those special moments with me--and syndicate my story all over the world via the internet, and also will be able to re-tell exactly how it happened to my children and grandchildren. Mike's creative and elegant video story of my surprise engagement is now one of my most valued treasures. Consider MV for your videography :)

Mike was a wonderful videographer for our wedding on the Queen Mary! He worked so well with our photographer and was professional the entire time; from the moment we first met to the day we recieved our video! We were so excited to see our video and were not disappointed! The video is something we will treasure forever. I am so glad we have this treasured memory, which originally we did not want to pay the extra expence-but so glad we did! No need to keep looking this is the videographer to use!

To be perfectly honest, having Mike from Mission Visual shoot my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. He couldn't be more professional, kind or talented. It's been six months and we're still getting compliments on the wedding... Even more so now because I just sent a link to a clip of the whole video. He captured everything about that day that was important and was able to showcase it in a way where as you watch it, you feel like you're there again. Unbelievable!

Mike recorded our wedding on 5/8/10. He was absolutely amazing! He befriended everyone he met, he really made my bridal party & family at ease. Our receiption was at the Mission Inn, Riverside, CA. We were hiking up and down stairs for a while taking pics. Mike even had his assistant deliver us 2 Corona's when I mentioned I was a bit parched. LOVE HIM!I recommend Mission Visual 100x's over. Mission Visual is awesome! Their prices are reasonable and you get high quality work. We worked closely with Mike who put together a video montage to show at our ceremony. It was a timely collaboration of home video clips of my husband and I growing up, and it was deeply moving. Mike is very nice and fun to work with. He filmed our entire ceremony and reception and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. It is worth the money for a great videographer, one who can capture all the details and precious moments of your most special day in a high-quality, beautiful fashion. He really does care about each couple he works for.

Mike was/is great. He was very accomodating in working with our hotel staff to ensure his/our AV needs were perfect. We taped a love story which was played at our reception. It was a huge success. We can't wait to see the wedding day video. Some guests did not know he was taping the reception. He blended into the festivities.

Videographer was great to work with- very responsive to emails and phone calls. Flexible with contract. He does a 1st draft of the editing and sends it to you for approval. You can tell him any changes you want and then he sends you a final edit. The footage he shot is amazing- focus, color; and the editing is also very creative- natural, b&w, transitions, intermingling themes (if you have one for your wedding)We were VERY happy with him and his services! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! ^_^If cost seems high for your budget (this is an average cost for videographers), I want to advise to go ahead and splurge a bit on videographer and also photographer. These are the 2 things that will be looked at over and over long after the wedding event itself. Anything else that can be cut on should be, if it means that you assure quality companies for videography and photography!!

Other than marrying my best friend, the absolute best decision I made in regard to planning my wedding was to hire Mike and Mission Visual. I was so impressed by his work I decided to fly him up to Northern CA, and though family and friends thought I was crazy when they saw the final video they understood. Mike was friendly, genuine, prompt, professional, warm, and very funny. A few members of the wedding party commented they felt they had known him for years. Add to that the fact that I have an incredible video that captured every moment, every emotion, every detail that I pain-stakingly planned all set to music with incredible editing work. And we got it back so fast!! I was amazed! We also had Mission Visual put together our photo montage that was shown at the reception and everyone was laughing through tears it was incredible. My husband and I have decided to renew our wedding vows to celebrate our ten year anniversary and we WILL be thrilled to work with Mission Visual again.

Our videographer was Michael Mccaleb. His day-of-service and final video was exactly what you wanted. He works hand-in-hand with the photographer (for us he was a great teammate with Michael Ray of House of Photography). Does not get into the other guy's shots but gets all the good shots. Even though we got just 1 guy, he set up a second camera for the ceremony and ran one on his own as well. He took care of all the standard interviews and "money" shots of the scenery. The final video came out super fast (after we sent him our music selections) and it was just right.

I really don't understand how so many great ratings ended up on here. My guess is that they aren't real. We had a terrible experience with Mission Visual. The day of our wedding it wasn't Mike who showed up, it was two guys who looked like they were 19 years old. This really annoyed me because we went to meet with him and he had told us he'd be there on our day. They had brought some lower end video cameras with them that did not produce great quality video. When we got the video back we weren't happy at all. The editing was terrible. One of the most annoying parts was that the camera guys kept zooming in on a couple of my female friends who were the most attractive girls at the wedding (except for my wife of course). You can tell that they were using their camera to get a good look at some of the girls 'assets'. Another annoying part is that we had rehearsed a choreographed dance and told them ahead of time about it. They of course weren't prepared and messed up getting it on video. There were a lot of other issues and it was poorly filmed and edited in general. I asked Mike for the raw footage so that I could get it edited somewhere else and he said he would give it to me for $300. I wasn't happy about that and he inferred that I was going to give him a bad review and he thought he would threaten to sue me to make sure I didn't. In his words "if you want to leave a negative, libelous account on WeddingWire or any of the other services, then I will not hesitate to come after you with my attorney." To be very clear, I didn't make any mention of leaving a bad review. This guy actually pulls the trigger on law suit threats at the first sign of an unhappy customer. This blew my mind. Ultimately we were luck enough to hire an amazing wedding photographer who captured all the important moments. We are stuck with an amateur wedding video. I would avoid these guys. I'm sure there is a lot of options in so-cal.
