If I could rate Seven - Degrees 10+ I would! We just had my sons wedding here this past Sunday 11/6/11. Everything from start to finish was amazing! We started planning in March 2011 which only gave us 8 months to plan. We worked with Keviann as our coordinator at Seven - Degrees. She was wonderful. very professional. Responded to all of our e-mails and questions and never made us feel that we were asking too much. Then on the day of the event, there she was working and making sure everything ran like clockwork. We didn't have to worry about anything. The venue is very shiek and modern and really has the wow factor. If you are looking to give your guests an experience..this is the place. The decor can go as far as you can imagine. They will accomodate anything from lighting to decor to personal touches. We had cookie and milk shooters tray passed at the end of the night.. it was great! They also have flat screen tv's and large screens to showcase photos or video montages or whatever you can think of. The sound system was awesome. The ceremony takes place on the roof top terrace. Just beautiful!!! then after the ceremony, in the blink of an eye, the entire terrace becomes your bar and cocktail hour. No one even could tell they moved everything away. The servers had smiles on their faces the whole night. so attentive and accomodating. The food is Off the Hook!! soo delicious. They have their own kitchen on premises, so everything comes out fresh and hot. We got comments all evening about how beautiful everything was. We are so happy we chose Seven-Degrees for our wedding venue. We could not be happier with how everything turned out. I would highly recommend this venue. You will not be sorry. It was worth every penny and more.

Best service, beautiful modern venue that needs little help to look gorgeous! I can't wait to have my wedding anniversary there! or any other party for that matter! I could not have asked for more from my coordinator Keviann Lee! She was the core of our event and everything ran a smoothly as possible thanks to her. I was relaxed and really enjoyed my wedding.

Up until our wedding we admittedly were very nervous. But working with Alyssa and Keviann - I realize now we actually had nothing to worry about. Now, I have a close group of friends who we always spend time with and they all had gotten married before us so we've been to a wedding or two. Usually after the wedding, we talk about it for a bit but then it quickly goes away as a topic. My friends have not stopped talking about this wedding. They said it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding and a lot of that is attributed to what seven degrees did for us. Alyssa put on a an epic experience that neither I nor our friends will forget. I rate a wedding experience not based only on how I feel but how the guests react. And this was a 5 out of 5 experience. They were extremely flexible with last minute menu changes. We had a buffet and suffice to say gluttony ensued. The southern comfort station including the mac and cheese was amazing. When you can take fried chicken, mac and cheese, and biscuits/gravy and make it spectacular - you've really done something special. The lighting was wonderful and it really shows in the photographs. All that being said, Alyssa treated us like true VIPs and we could not have asked for a better experience. We were so relaxed and taken care of that our only job really came down to just having fun and we partied our butts off.

We got married at Seven Degrees and had a little bit of a unique situation - we were planning both an indian wedding and an american wedding and were trying to find the right venue to have both. Looking back, we can't believe we even considered places other than Seven Degrees. Indian weddings are elaborate and have multiple moving parts. On top of it, we wanted to have both weddings on the same day. The staff at Seven Degrees (Alyssa and Keviann) were phenomenal. They worked with us throughout the entire process. The catering at the venue was AMAZING too (their chef did both a lunch and dinner menu for us with indian and american cuisine). The decor was out of this world and the flowers were just gorgeous. Keviann and Ayssa were calm the entire time and so easy to work with. They were incredibly responsive and had great suggestions for us the entire time - the Seven Degrees group are absolute professionals. After the weddings and reception, we received so many compliments on how smooth the events went and how beautiful the location, the place, and the food were. Both my husband and I can't thank them enough for everything and the wonderful memories!!

I could not have picked a better spot for our wedding...it was AMZING! It was unique (great photo opps), the food was phenomenal, and the staff was SUPERB.First off, Dora was so great and worked with us regarding our dates and budget. We felt SO lucky to get this great venue at such a great value!Alyssa and Keviann were AMAZING and extremely responsive! They even packed up our car(s) with the TON of gifts we received and our cake top! They couldn't be sweeter or more accomodating, and I really appreciated their knowledge at planning expertise. In addition to the gorgeous location and EXCEPTIONAL FOOD, the customized lighting and state of the art audio and video let us further tailor the dayto our tastes. The art installation on the walls added even more. It was just an incredible place to get married.WE LOVED SEVEN-DEGREES!

The presentation was very elegant and professional. No pictures, they had it set up like there was a wedding and reception. They served food and cocktails, and we were able to listen to the sound system as well. After putting down the deposit, we were able to negotiate the final cost due to the day of the week we were having our event. The fact that they were willing to negotiate showed how they really wanted us as clients. The coodinating team were exceptionally professional, yet personalble. They had the timeline and everything that i needed to do, they remembered to remind me and were also offering help in anything that i needed. They thought of everything. The caterer was truly a professional. He took our ideal menu and ran with it. Kudos to him. The flowers were beautiful. They also had lighting and we planned that as well! They were on time as far as the flow of the wedding went.

I just had my July 9th wedding at Seven-Degrees and could not speak more highly of the experience! Seven-Degrees as a venue was a dream. We chose to hold our ceremony and reception at the venue. We were married on their rooftop terrace overlooking the hills of Laguna Beach. We loved the setting and have heard back from several of our guests that the backdrop of venue truly set a romantic and beautiful tone. After our ceremony, we held a cocktail hour upstairs on the roof. My husband and I are definite foodies and the venue worked with us to plan an amazing appetizer list and 2 signature cocktails (+ wine and beer) all within our budget. We also were able to bring in our own music playlist for the cocktail hour. With Seven-Degrees fabulous sound system, the CD sounded professional. The reception was held downstairs in the media room. We were able to pick different lighting all throughout the night (pink, amber, and sea green for us) to set the tone, and this was entirely included in the cost of the venue. The venue is extremely welcoming of any and all dinner suggestions. We even provided recipes for pretty much every course and the chef prepared them. We were able to attend a tasting (with 2 guests) a few months before the wedding to sign off on the food. (Don't worry, though, they have plenty of sample menus, if you don't want to design your own.) The food was FANTASTIC. The 2 comments I get from everyone about our wedding are: 1) your wedding was so fun! and 2) your food was the best wedding food I have ever had. I think that says it all! And the venue packed up leftovers to send with my husband and I at the end of the night for a midnight snack. How sweet!!In terms of decorations, you can do WHATEVER you want. It's a blank slate with grey flooring and white walls. I wanted the wedding to feel warm and romantic, but also have a modern touch. So we decorated using metal vases, lace and linen table runners, pink roses and peonies, grey succulents, and tons and tons of candles. We took advantage of the media space and had the EE Cummings poem "I Carry Your Heart" projected on a wall and had a slideshow of pictures of us growing up. The venue also has these great mini screens hanging throughout, and we showed a black and white loop of our engagement shoot. The venue hung white paper lanterns all above the dance floor and set up lounge furniture around the borders for people to relax in.We had the opportunity to work with Keviann as our wedding coordinator. She was simply amazing! She was incredibly organized, which is something that I (as a Type A person, myself) really appreciated. For each of our meetings, she had agendas printed out of what we would discuss, and she would always send follow-up emails to go over any of the decisions we had made. Keviann was also extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. One of the great things about working with Seven-Degrees is the unlimited emails to your coordinator. Often coordinators limit your emails and phone calls, but I could email Keviann as much as I needed, and she was always back to me within a business day. I would often email her with my DIY ideas and Keviann was great at offering advice on how those concepts would fit into the space and advising on the reasonableness of the cost. Most importantly, Keviann was fabulous on the day-of. We had personalized so many concepts of the wedding (e.g. personalized cocktail napkins, brought in our own entry room art, made our own recipe for a signature cocktail and brought them the ingredients, and the list goes on and on), and Keviann kept all these items in order and organized - what they were, where they went, what time they needed to be moved, etc. Everything was perfect and according to plan. We also had a large number of people in the bridal suite before the ceremony and Keviann was great at keeping everyone on time and keeping me out of any of the pre-wedding drama :)I truly recommend this venue to everyone!

Our wedding at [seven-degrees] was AMAZING! Not only is the venue gorgeous and truly unique, the staff is wonderful and the food is phenomenal! Our coordinators, Keviann and Alyssa made planning incredibly easy and stress free. They are absolutely wonderful to work with and are full of great ideas. Not a detail was missed on our wedding day. From coordinating our wedding party to packing our car with gifts and everything in between, Keviann and the staff at [seven-degrees] ensured it all went exactly as planned. Seven Degrees was a brides dream venue come true! I had a fabulous time working with Alyssa and staff for my April 2010 wedding. The planning process was very smooth and extremely organized from start to finish. This helped me to get organize and plan more efficiently. I had a 4-5 meetings at the venue and was able to speak to my on-site planner (Alyssa) by email or phone. The staff played a huge role in making sure everything was perfect. As far as the venue itself you can not go wrong with Laguna Beach and Seven Degrees. Together this location and place was an amazing experience. The grounds at Seven Degrees is manicured and modern. Its an open slate as well which allows you own creative juices to start flowing. Be sure to look at previous wedding and events here because it helps to envision your own style. Dress it up or leave it as is and you will not be disappointed. I also had catering for the cocktail and reception through Seven Degrees and it was just delicious. All of my guest raved about how great the food tasted and the presentation of the hor'duerves was very nice. I opted for buffet to keep cost within my budget, but I am sure their sit-down dinner is amazing. If you have a chance to visit Seven Degrees and consider it for your wedding ...DO IT! You will not be disappointed. My wedding was perfect and I thank Seven Degrees for that :o)

I loved having my wedding at Seven-Degrees! It was definitely a dream come true to have it at such a beautiful and amazing venue! We wanted something different from the usual hotel or restaurant venue and Seven-Degrees could not be beat! I will have to warn you that it is an expensive venue and everything costs extra! So make sure to be very specific when requesting information or a quote because any changes or extras will cost you!! That said, Alyssa was very nice to work with and I do recommend having a wedding here!!!

Everyone is still talking about how much they loved my venue one month later!Alyssa and her team did a great job on my wedding day and were so flexible with all the last minute changes! She was wonderful at working with my own day-of coordinators and I did not have to worry about a thing! If anything went wrong, I did not notice! The lighting, the food, the architecture, decor...it all worked and made our wedding better than we could have imagined!Response time is a little slow, but i think it is because they are so busy every weekend! It really is a popular place to get married!Dora, one of the managers, really worked with our budget allowing us to have Seven-Degrees as our venue! We had an unforgettable day at Seven-Degrees! Thank you so much!!

No question- [seven-degrees] is one of the most INCREDIBLE venues in Southern California, and we could not have been more pleased with both the food and the venue. Not only that, but they were flexible enough to work with my planner to create an INCREDIBLE event that worked within our budget. Also, the food is absolutely delicious. We had so many guests that said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. We were very picky on the quality of food, so seven-degrees was a perfect fit!Overall, everything from a venue standpoint worked like clockwork, and we were thrilled. Benefits included:1. Laguna Beach setting2. Unparalleled Lighting and Technology Options3. Incredible food4. A beautiful venue for both ceremony and reception If you were a good friend of mine looking to get married at the venue, I would say no question, if this venue fits your aesthetic, DO IT without hesitation. But here are a couple things you should be aware of:1) Communication can definitely be an issue. Sometimes the staff can be VERY difficult to get ahold of. That being said, in face to face meetings, they are attentive, flexible, very nice, and extremely helpful. I would try to get any and all concerns I have voiced in these meetings rather than relying on phone communication and emails. 2) Don't do your bar by consumption- even in the last hour or so. We had open bar until 11 and then switched to paying by consumption after 11, with the understanding that the bar would close at 11:30. It didn't close at 11:30 for some reason, and we ended up racking up an additional $1300 in bar fees in the last hour. Had we kept it open bar, it would've been $600-$700. So switching from open bar to consumption is not a deal- don't do it. Other than that- book it and enjoy! It is INCREDIBLE, and you'll be super happy with the results!

First of all, I'd like to say that I would definitely have my wedding at this modern, classy venue if I had to do it all over again based on how the food tasted and its uniqueness. The venue did overall look great on my wedding day. We had our ceremony on the terrace, and our reception in the "media room." It's in the hills of Laguna, minutes from the beach but doesn't have a view of the beach. The Bad: The process was stressful, however. I would have hired my own wedding coordinator to work out the kinks that happened and to decrease my stress. I met with the Seven Degrees venue wedding coordinator( included in the contract) 5 times before the wedding and she had an assistant, so I figured I didn't need to hire another private coordinator. The venue advertised "lots of hand-holding," which is what I was looking for because I knew I would be busy with work. If you have time to plan and organize yourself, then you will be fine. Otherwise, I recommend you ask your coordinator to email you the topics to be discussed before each meeting to be prepared. I ended up emailing a lot of my answers to their questions ( ie songs for the ceremony in what order, etc), but sometimes by the next meeting, I had to remind them what I had emailed them! For example, I had to remind them that I had emailed them an updated timeline and that they had the old one!! I wasn't sure if they would have the details down that I wanted by the wedding, so that was stressful. The day of the wedding at different points, we could not find the coordinator or her assistant when we needed something. This is why I felt I should have had my own coordinator to then help me look for them and relay questions!! The major things and timeline was fine- just details could have been managed better. My mother-in-law asked the assistant to turn up the heat for the outdoor-but tented ceremony, and the reply was, "I'm really busy," but the assistant did eventually designate someone to turn up the heat. I understand she was stressed out perhaps, but we paid a lot of money for the coordinator team. Our photo montage on the small TV screens was stretched out and never got fixed like my husband had asked ( and was told "no problem.") The ribbon along the aisle was black instead of pink, and there weren't candles along the ceremony aisle like I had requested, but these are details that mean a lot to me, the bride on The Day, after planning for 8 months, and to no one else. The only blatant error obvious to guests was that the last table served dinner did not get their predetermined food selections- they were told that they ran out of beef!! so they were all given fish!! Luckily the food was really good, but I don't think that's acceptable for our guests to not get their food choices. Especially when the contract includes 20% tip for servers AND bartenders. Furthermore, the bar had a tip jar-- that was in bad taste since we paid 20% gratuity included in the contract so that our guests would not feel obligated to tip! The Good: The venue was flexible with our budget, which was extremely helpful, and one reason I booked with them. The florist was through Seven Degrees and she did a beautiful job. The sound system and media system is really good and there are 3 large projector screens which was great for our slide show. We were able to choose color changes in the lighting to correlate with different events on the timeline, which was a nice touch. Many of my guests thought the wedding went smoothly and raved about the venue, so given that, I am glad I got married there, but I could have been less stressed. I was told I was a laid-back bride too! If you want a unique venue- get married here, but spend the money on your own wedding coordinator (Day- of coordinator is probably fine if you are on a budget) to work with the venue coordinators to make sure things run smoothly! That way, you can just enjoy your day!
