I want to thank Rev Stan for a beautiful way to celebrate our wedding day! He was kind, professional, and met our every need. We have recomended Rev. Stan to friends and family who are going to start planning their weddings. I recently wrote a review that accidently rated Rev. Stan by an accidently pushed touchy computer, so I am rewritting my review to explain how happy we are with our ceremony in every way. We found Rev. Stan on his wonderful web site that explained in great detail how he could help us write our ceremony to fit exactly what we wanted. He was warm and inviting by emailing and calling during the duration of your wedding plans. Thank you Rev Stan from the bottom of our hearts!!

One word: OUTSTANDING! I cannot express enough how pleased my new husband and I were with the services provided by Specialized Wedding's and Reverend Stan. Being from out of town we had to ask for referrals for officiants. Reverend Stan was recommended by everyone, from our venue to the bakery and to the salon. We can now see why! His attention to detail, his promptness and knowledge and most importantly the eloquence in which he delivered our ceremony. We, along with our guests were very moved. He definitely made our big day a special one and we can't thank him enough!

After reading the reviews about Reverend Stan, I had to call Specialized Wedding Services to see if Reverend Stan was available on our Wedding Day. And he was! Reverend Stan assured me that he would not let me down and he was correct. He wrote us the most beautiful ceremony and had so many suggestions on what we can do during the ceremony. He kept in contact during the entire process to insure that I was happy with what he had written for us and after reading the first draft, I was in tears. My husband & I loved every word, so beautiful. During our Dinner Rehearsal, my husband was having some issues with his brother and Reverened Stan asked if he could talk to him and after they talked, his brother acted differently. We're not sure what Reverend Stan told him but what ever it was it worked and we are so thankful for that. After the ceremony we had so many of our guests tell us how beautiful the ceremony was and that it was the best they have ever heard. Reverend Stan made a lot of our guests tear up. You will be sorry if you do not book Reverend Stan for your Wedding. He is an amazing person and he definitely knows what he is talking about :0)

Right from the start Reverend Stan told us he wouldn’t let us down, and indeed he came through. In an initial phone call with him he made us feel very comfortable and I could tell he really knew what he was doing. After this conversation and some emails we set up a meeting with him at his home, as we were going to be in the area for a food tasting. Reverend Stan asked us a lot of questions to help zero in on exactly what type of ceremony we wanted, and even read aloud some sample passages for us. This phase was critical as we didn’t know exactly what type of ceremony we wanted. He laid out plenty of options and even welcomed any passages of our own that we might have wanted to add, which we eventually did. He has a great voice – both powerful and gentle – and his sample readings really helped us envision what the real ceremony would be like.Over the remaining weeks approaching our wedding we emailed drafts back and forth a few times, polishing the details until we were happy with the outcome. He was on site early for both the rehearsal and wedding and took care of all the wedding license details too. My wife and I are happy we found the Reverend and highly recommend him. You can count on Reverend Stan!

What a wonderful decision we made! Reverend Virginia wrote a beautiful, intimate ceremony for my My husband and I. We wanted something simple, stress free and comfortable for our wedding day. Reverend Virgina and Stan were so warm and responsive to everything. We definitely got what we wanted!

Reverend Stan was wonderful! I could not have asked for a better officiant. He took care of me every step of the way, he was more than my officiant, he was practically my coordinator! I felt completely at ease knowing I wouldn't have to worry about a thing on my big day because Reverend Stan was there, he told me as soon as I arrived (late of course!) "Just relax, the bride is never late and we won't start until you are ready." I was amazed, not once in the planning of my big day did I think my officiant would care so much. I was wrong! All I can say is, Thank You Reverend Stan, you made the most important day in my life stress free and a day I will never forget!

After interviewing several officiants for our wedding, I came across Reverend Stan. It was very important to me that we have the right person to officiate our wedding especially because I am Jewish, and my wife's family is predominately Catholic. The very first time that I spoke with Stan, I had a warm feeling about what it was that he was trying to provide. He had such a comfortable grasp of what it was that we were trying to do with our ceremony and inter-weaving so much tradition from both sides so as not to leave anything out or offend any of the elders on either side. My wife and I chose to have a rather complicated ceremony also because we wanted to include our children in a ceremony of their own. Immediately Reverand Stan had an answer and he has so much experience dealing with all of these things that the wealth of knowledge is unsurpassed. Always calm and cool under the pressure of carrying out the most important day of most of our lives, Reverand Stan exudes proffesionalism and can deal with the most disruptive and intrusive of guests or family members. He offered at one point to speak personally with my wife's Mother because she and my wife were going through some personal issues. Being the kind hearted individual that he is, I cant imagine what my wedding would have been like had Reverand Stan not been there. I didnt think that we could possibly pull off the type of wedding we wanted and he made it all possible. He made sure to cover all the details to ensure all of our loved ones, even those that have passed, were included in a respectful and tasteful manner. Explicit attention to detail and an uncanny knowledge of everything that is "a wedding" is what sets Reverand Stan apart from the rest of his colleagues. Reverend Stan was the most thorough officiant we could have asked for. We planned our wedding from the east coast and the majority of our ceremony planning was through email and over the phone with Reverend Stan He walked us through everything, let us review our ceremony script, offered suggestions for other vendors (photographers, etc) and even picked up a runner for our aisle for us! Our ceremony was an outdoor ceremony and Reverend Stan was up bright and early for our morning wedding over an hour from his home. He was accommodating to all our requests and performed a lovely personal ceremony. All our family and friends commented on how beautiful the wording of the ceremony was and how Reverend Stan personalized the wedding to fit the bride and groom. Thank you Reverend Stan...you were the best!

Reverend Stan was wonderful. Very Professional & listened to all of Our wants. The ceremony he wrote for us was lovely. We loved the way he personalized the ceremony to Our story as a couple. All of Our guests loved the ceremony. He was also very helpful on suggestions as well as recommending other vendors for Our needs on Our special day. I would urge any couple looking for an officiant to use Reverend Stan, you would be very very pleased. I know we are. He was absolutely wonderful.

I want to thank you again Reverend Stan for the fine ceremony you delivered for Sheila and my planned 'short-story' wedding. The ceremony was well written and very well executed and you worked very well with us in choosing our vows that were succinct and sincere, just as we wanted. As well, we thank you for handling the 'accounting' details of the marriage license with the State of CA with such expedience and aplomb; it was done before we returned to Portland, OR from our short honeymoon and that was much appreciated. We would recommend your services to anyone we know (or don't know for that matter!) who may be planning a wedding in the Palm Springs area; you were flexible and very accommodating during the entire planning phase; and execution of our ceremony couldn't have been better…we couldn't have been happier with the results! Reverend Stan officiated our wedding a little over a week ago. I have heard from all of my family members and friends how beautiful the ceremony was. The personalized ceremony that Reverend Stan put together was beautiful, touching, heart felt and unique to us. I had a few family problems during the planning and the Reverend was there to give me advise and help me through it. He went above and beyond to help us out in any way he could and all the while made you feel as though you have known him forever. I cannot say enough about him. He's wonderful! Our wedding plans had to change suddenly due to health issues of a family member. Everything was already planned for Las Vegas and about two weeks before we were to get married, we needed to change our destination to Palm Springs. With such short notice, I wasn't confident that I would find somebody that could marry us so quickly, AND be able to come to my future in-laws home to marry us. Reverend Stan was wonderful!! We wanted a civil ceremony, very small and intimate. He worked with us on our vows to accomodate our requests and I have to say they were perfect. He came to the house and performed the ceremony there which was a blessing for everyone involved. I would recommend Reverend Stan to anyone. He is a kind, thoughtful and considerate gentleman, with a warm sense of humor.

I don't think we can adequately describe how wonderful Reverand Stan was to work with as our wedding officiant (March 27, 2010). I discovered Reverand Stan based upon reviews I had read from former brides, and upon contacting him, my fiance and I were invited to his home to meet in person and review sample videos of his previous weddings. We instantly felt comfortable with his professionalism, kindness, and sincerity. He took meticulous notes during that first meeting and asked us to provide personal stories for him to use at the ceremony. One of the best things about Reverand Stan is how organized he is, and, as a result, how easy he makes this part of your wedding planning. Never was there a time I ever worried or even had to wonder if I was on the right timeframe with this part of the wedding, thanks to Reverand Stan. Also, very important to know...he does not plan any other events on the day of your event, so he is not rushed or distracted on your big day. For all of the future brides reading this, please remember - you will become overwhelmed with flowers, dresses, cakes, etc. but what is the heart and soul of your wedding is what is said at the ceremony. This is the time where people learn why you are committing yourself to each other Every person, and I mean EVERY single person present, commented on how touching and personal our ceremony was. We all had times of laughter and times where tears were shed, but, most importantly, we felt that the ceremony was unique to us. Reverand Stan tailored every piece of the ceremony, including the degree of 'religiousity' we felt comfortable using in the ceremony, to make sure everyone present (including us) believed the ceremony was ours. People continue to comment to us how wonderful Reverand Stan was and upon watching our wedding video we wholeheartedly agree (even though his rates are extremely reasonable) what he did for us was priceless.

Reverend Stan is everything a caring professional wedding officiant strives to become. The entire experience, from the initial consultation through the ceremony and post wedding celebration, is a warm heartfelt feeling you will want to savor for your own Wedding Day. We were married October 17, 2009 in Palm Springs and our wedding was nothing short of spectacular! A large factor in making our wedding weekend perfect was Reverend Stan. From the moment we first spoke nearly a year before our wedding, Rev. Stan was attentive, understanding, and incredibly helpful. Matthew and I had different religious influences growing up, yet neither of us were currently very religious. We knew, however, that somehow we wanted to incorporate both Jewish and Catholic aspects to our ceremony...we just didn't know how! Rev. Stan talked us through everything, gave us time to consider our feelings, and helped us create a beautiful, unique ceremony. My request to him was that our ceremony be filled with "laughter through tears" and Rev. Stan certainly delivered. My new mother-in-law was a wedding planner for many years, so needless to say, she has seen hundreds of ceremonies. She commented afterward that it was the most special, unique ceremony she had ever heard. Family members from both religions were truly impressed by how we incorporated passages, traditions, and new ideas from both backgrounds into the incredible ceremony. We became so close with Rev. Stan that we invited both him and his lovely wife Virginia to our rehearsal lunch and our morning-after brunch. I would never hesitate to recommend Reverend Stan to officiate anyone's ceremony. He will make you feel so comfortable and listen to what you want your ceremony to be. Sometimes, he came up with things to include that I had wanted to, but just couldn't find the right words. His level of attention, both to the couple and to the details are absolutely incredible. He also includes a written copy of your ceremony for you, which is such a lovely keepsake. We love Reverend Stan!! We vacation in Palm Springs several times a year and know that we have made a lifelong friend.

Reverend Stan was awesome! This was our first time in ever planning a wedding and he made it so easy for us. Planning a wedding is very time consuming and he was on top of everything. He had all the answers and even great ideas. The ceremony was perfect amount of time and included everything and more that we wanted. There wont be another ceremony like ours everything he put together for us was very personalized, which we loved!

Reverend Stan wrote a beautiful ceremony for us. Our guests have told us that it was the most unusual and memorable ceremony that they have ever witnessed. He was always available anytime that we had questions. He was very accomodating and worked with us until we got exactly the ceremony that we wanted.

Reverend Stan was fantastic. We had a middle of the week wedding that we put together fairly quickly. He worked with us to build a ceremony that truly fit us as individuals and captured heartfelt words to eachother.
