The Bride and I

I love April! And seriously don't know what I would have done without her. We were planning the wedding mostly ourselves so April with The Bride and I was the perfect person to hire. Not only does she have several contacts in the Palm Springs area, she has relationships with several of the venues and knows the staff, etc. All of this and more is what makes The Bride and I more than capable of being your day of planner. On our wedding day, we pretty much got the latest instruction from April on where to be and when, etc. etc. This all may not sound like much, but trust me you don't want to be doing this yourself the day of the wedding, or having a friend or family member doing it either. You want to enjoy every moment. She made sure our entire reception was set up better than I could have imagined. And she was right there whenver I needed her, like when my bustle broke. There was April, armed with safety pins to fix me right up and get me back out on the dance floor. Having a day of planner is SO worth it. And hiring The Bride and I is even better.

April is wonderful and you will feel so relaxed and confident knowing she is on your team. I hired April because I planned my desert wedding from L.A. and I didn't want my mother or bridesmaids to be worried about last minute details. You THINK you know what these details will be but you don't and though April was my "day-of" coordinator she was so available to me even though I shot her many emails a day and when it came down to the final days she was way ahead of me- and I was super organized. I think some people think hiring a wedding planner is an "extra" but is is very important and no one should be without that kind of expertise and support. April is just terrific and she gets along so well with everyone- from reticent ring-bearers to my elderly relatives to my sometimes MIA vendors. My wedding was incredible and all the follow through- including packing up the personal items, bills, tips, cut-off times, private moments for my NEW HUSBAND and I was managed beautifully by April.

I am from out of town and had my wedding at the Colony Palms Hotel. I enlisted April's help fairly late in the process (about 6 months prior), so by that point I had many of the big ticket items taken care of. However, she offered very good advice in helping me choose a florist and music. Then, close to the wedding, she was instrumental in helping to organize the schedule for the day of the wedding and in tying up loose ends. She thought about how many cocktail tables to have and where to place them, how many heat lamps we would need, lighting, linens, and so on. She is very detail oriented and thought about all of the little issues that I did not want to have to worry about, such getting the programs to the church, passing them out, cleaning up, where each person in the bridal party should be standing in the church, during the introduction at the receptions, coordinating between the DJ and people giving toasts, etc.. She was very communicative and helped coordinate between vendors. I couldn't imagine a more stress-free wedding day, and I can honestly say that the reason we had so much fun was because April and her team were there to do all of the work behind the scenes.

Wedding went perfectly because I had the best planner in the desert. April was amazing and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

April was all around amazing. She was my mediator and my psychiatrist. She did a great job planning (and styling) my wedding. She never pushed me to spend money on things I couldn't afford yet gave me everything I wanted. How is that possible? April = priceless.

There are so many wonderful things that I can say about April, she is simply the best there is. If you want your your wedding day to be the most amazing experience, then April is the one for you. She was extremely organized, and coordinated everything better than I could have ever hoped. Thank you April for saving my wedding and making it such a special memory for Ryan and I. Utilizing your services was the single best decision that we made.

April is amazing. I cannot sing her praises enough.
