I have nothing but kind words to say about Michelle. She was most helpful in EVERYTHING and so so kind. I recommend this venue to ANYONE getting married, really I do. The gorgeous Victorian house was THE PERFECT back drop for our Hallowedding. Michelle was on top of her game: responded to emails quickly, took us to Shinoda to find wedding decor, and always had other vendors to recommend. She knows everyone! The ONLY bad thing I can say about this service is the DJ, Jon Muir. Michelle has a back up DJ and I say GO WITH HIM! Jon threatened his services TWO WEEKS before our wedding all because I was asking about my Father/Daughter dance because we were doing something special and wanted to practice. I didn't get the break down of our dance until a couple days before the wedding. Needless to say, we didn't get to practice it and just had to wing it. He LAGS. He put off everything until "tomorrow night" or "next week" and I understand that he has other clients, but I did not appreciate him lying about getting things done and most importantly threatening his services TWO. WEEKS. before our wedding. UNACCEPTABLE. I also had a huge list of music we would have liked to hear and cannot remembering hearing ONE of the songs that night. He would also cut songs in half - my mom requested a song and he stopped it right before the chorus which was my mom's favorite part! The music HE chose was not for us. AT ALL. So, that would be my only complaint and warning. When I confronted Michelle about the situation she was very understanding and apologetic for Jon (since he was NOT) and even suggested we use her other DJ, but unfortunately we stuck with Jon. BIG mistake. I cannot say it enough. DO NOT USE JON MUIR!

Our experience at The Jones Victorian Estate, was unlike anything I have ever experienced. Michelle and her staff go above and beyond to make your wedding unique and amazingly special. Michelle's attention to Detail and creativeness, helps you think outside the box, and adds those special touches. She really knows what she is doing! She was there when ever I needed to call, email, or stop by. She helps make you, as the bride, feel so at ease and calm. Knowing that my wedding was in her hands, was the best feeling ever. Even when it rained till and HOUR before the wedding, was Michelle able to keep me, a worry wort, at ease!!! She was right, it all turned out perfect!!! Michelle's packages at The Jones, are all enclusive, and then some! Her food is out of this world. I never got to meet her chef, but my hats off to him! Everyone complimented our food and the choices that were made. At your food tasting, and I use "Tasting" lightly, you get a feast! A full 3 course meal!!! I particularly loved being able to invite guests along with us to our tasting, it helped with the decision making! I loved being able to eat my wedding food TWICE!! And yes, we did eat on our wedding day! Michelle and her staff made sure of that! Her DJ., is so sweet and was incredibly flexible with his meeting times. He was open to anything that we wanted to be apart of our day and even helped us fix the music for our first dance! He speaks very well, and I love that he went around to our guests and introduced himself and opened up any requests that they may have for the dancing. I got positive feed back from our guests, and that made them feel like they were an active part in our day! Her Florist, Flower Allie does amazing flowers. She knew exactly what I wanted from a few, (OK a few dozen) pictures, that I brought to our meeting. Michelle attended all our meetings with the florist. Allie at Flower Allie, came through with everything we had talked about!! Her flowers were more than I had even envisioned! My flowers were one of my favorite parts. Her baker was nice. She was fun to talk to at the tasting. Our cake was nice, but it was not the color I had wanted and was adorned with flowers, but not the ones that I had hoped. We chose to have a small 2 tier cake and then cupcakes. From what we heard from our guests the cupcakes were good. We didn't get to enjoy one at our wedding. I had Wedding Dress delimma, and Michelle was there with me, just 2 weeks before my wedding, making sure I found another dress. She had referred me to Marry Me Bridal, and I thank her for that! They were amazing! Michelle's kindness, supportiveness and generosity, go beyond words!! SHe makes you feel like you have known here for ever! She is the kind of person that you NEVER want to lose touch with. She still, is there when I email or call just to say HI! She will forever hold a spot in my heart!!!!! Our Gratitude cannot be expressed enough!

Michelle's enthusiasm and attention to detail made everything run smoothly, providing a calming effect on everyone concerned. We have told many about this venue, and many who attended were enthusiastic as well. The food and service were excellent.

I was so stressed out trying to find a site for my Wedding and Reception. I had been looking and just happen to find the Jones Victorian Estate on line. From the very first meeting, Michelle Gregory, the stylist and coordinator, but me at ease. I was worried about my gown and flowers and photographers and everything! She helped me through my frustrations and gave me little tasks to do. She was there every step of the way. I think in the beginning, I must have called her ten times a week. She always greeted me with so much love and always took the time for me. The planning was a blast. We set up a "mock up" of the table designs so I could see how it would look. She had so many suggestions and ideas that it became so easy!! She would say, "Do you like it or love it?" When it's broken down to those simple terms, it's so easy to make a decision. I think that was my biggest problem... making a decision.!What a complete change from the beginning. We talked about decoration at the Estate; for example the gates leading to the wedding ceremony, the bar menu and set up... every little detail she made so easy! The best part was it reflected my style and everyone said it felt so comfortable. I love the Jones Victorian Estate because my Wedding and Reception was completely private being the only one for that day. The drive in, the beautiful setting, the wonderful staff, the great food, the fun planning, all made my experience unforgettable. I enjoyed my finance during the planning time and anytime I would start panicking, he would say, "Call Michelle!." The cost was in our budget but in hind sight, I would have paid more to have the peace of mind she provided to me, my fiance and family with!

I was the mother of the groom. The bride fell in love with the Jones Victorian Estate and Michelle Gregory, the wedding planner, and I immediately saw why. Michelle is wonderful about working with the couple and their families to make their special day everything they want it to be. In our case, the bride has lovely taste, knew the look she wanted, and Michelle worked with her to make it happen. Many guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food, and the high quality of service from Michelle and her staff. It really was perfect.

Michelle is a wonderful, caring, loving person and she brings these qualities to her wedding planning at her facility. She thought of everything and made the planning of my daughter's wedding go smoothly. The wedding was one of the best days of my life with a lot of the credit going to Michelle. She was everywhere making sure everything went smoothly for us and the guests. At one point, I took off my shoes and shortly afterwards she came and brought my slippers. This is the kind of attention to detail Michelle provides that make her weddings special.

Magical. Every time my fiance and I drive up the private driveway or walk around The Jones Victorian Estate for an appointment, planning or just to visit Michelle, I feel enchanted. June 11th of 2011 is our wedding date and we can't be more excited and blessed to be getting married at this wonderful venue. My fiance and I wanted a homey venue that our guests and family would be comfortable at, and I have always dreamed of a romantic garden wedding--this is the perfect place. With this beautiful venue, we also get Michelle who, let me tell you, is the best Bridal Coordinator, Wedding Planner, supporter, cheerleader and Mom I could ask for. We even went to L.A. for a day to buy specific fabric and ribbon. I found the perfect fabric, but didn't feel comfortable dealing with an entirely too rude and audacious salesman who was trying to charge us an obsence price. Michelle may be small, but she was my champion bargaining with him until we received a quote we were all happy with. Additionally, Michelle is superb at assisting brides like myself with a creative vision and has worked with me tirelessly until we created beautiful, personal centerpieces and design elements to decorate the Estate with. Everything is coming together seamlessly, and we can't wait for June 11th!!!

When my in-laws first saw the Jones they said, "This is paradise. What a better place to start a life together. It will definately be memorable." That was exactly what the Jones provided, a wedding to remember. Not only was the planning process carefree, but the day of the wedding could not have been less stressful. We started planning 6 months before the wedding. Michelle, the owner and wedding planner, took care of contacting all my vendors and setting up appointments that worked around our schedule. We only had to take care of the photographer, the pastor, and the liquor. Most of the time, I met with Michelle at the Jones to go over colors, food, wedding cake flavors, etc. It was very convenient because we did not have to price anything or run all over town. On the day of the wedding, my husband and I were able to enjoy ourselves and Michelle took care of making sure everything was on schedule. We and our guests had so much fun that weeks after the wedding, people were still calling our parents to say that it was one of the best weddings they had been to. I really recommend this vendue for a wedding. It has a variety of places to take pictures, excellent food, a flexible wedding coordinator who is patient and easy to talk to, and even in December, a great place for an all-inclusive, outdoor wedding for a reasonable rate. Michelle and the Jones helped us start our life together in a fun and memorable way. Thank you so much!!

Our wedding at the Jones Victorian Estate was the BEST day of our lives! Michelle's attention to detail, meticulous planning and kind nature helped create a magical day – one that exceeded all our expectations. Walking up to the Jones Victorian Estate on the day of our wedding was a moment we will never forget. Everything was set up and placed perfectly - from the flowers, to the arch for the ceremony, to the napkin folds, all perfect. Michelle took our ideas, added her creativity and imagination, and crafted an event that will live in our minds for the rest of our lives. She made the most important day of our life a wonderful and stress free day. From the first day of planning thru the day of the wedding -everything ran smoothly because of Michelle. On our wedding day, if we needed something she knew where to find it, if our guests were sitting in the sun, she adjusted their umbrella, if someone needed a drink, it was refilled immediately. Somehow, she managed to be everywhere, yet she remained hidden in the shadows, never taking the spotlight off the event. Michelle truly has a gift for knowing what the bride, groom and guests need. We will never be able to express our true gratitude. It was, simply awesome!

We stumbled upon the Jones Victorian Estate after being frustrated with all the other venues we'd looked at in Orange County. The others had a set cost (which was usually way above our budget) and told you how your wedding day would look. Michelle, on the other hand, was very accommodating and always listened to what we wanted. We would throw ideas at her and then listen to her invaluable input from her many years of experience. We cannot thank Michelle enough for her time, effort, amazing ideas, and helpful advice in preparation for the big day. She was incredibly positive and upbeat every time we met with her. She makes you feel that you are the only wedding she's thinking about. The day of our wedding she made everything run so smoothly. Michelle and her staff worked behind the scenes diligently to make sure we and our guests had the best day possible. Whenever we needed something they were right there to take care of us. They made it all seem so effortless. Michelle doesn't treat weddings as a job, this is her passion and it shows in everything she provided for us.

I cannot say enough good things about Michelle Gregory and the Jones Victorian Estate!! My husband and I were married there on May 22, 2010. We spent a lot of time looking for a beautiful outdoor venue to have a garden wedding. We wanted to find a location that would be flexible in terms of planning, since we wanted our wedding to have a very intimate, personal feel. We looked at 10 locations in Orange County and they all seemed to turn out cookie cutter type receptions...until we found the Estate! It turned out to be the perfect location for us. Michelle listened to all of our ideas and helped us find unique ways to express ourselves. We loved the personal attention when she met with us to talk about the cake, the flowers, and the food over the course of the 6 months we took to plan our wedding. And she was so prompt to respond to our emails and questions between meetings! I knew that our wedding would be beautiful but it really surpassed all of my dreams. The Estate looked so beautiful and the reception just flowed so easily from part to part, all because of Michelle's care and organization. Most of all, by the time of or wedding, I was so glad to have here there with me. Her kindness and caring personality made her like family to us and she helped both of us feel very relaxed so we could just enjoy the day and be with our guests. I am so grateful to have found the Estate and would love to get married there all over again!

My husband and I were married at the Jones Victorian Estate this past Saturday, May 1st, 2010. Where do I start? Everything was gorgeous!! We were amazed at how everything we had planned for over the past year turned out and it all came together beautifully! None of it could have been possible without Michelle (our coordinator) who owns the estate. She left no stone unturned and her attention to all the little details was admired by all of our guests. During the planning process Michelle was always quick to respond to my many questions and/or concerns. She had many great suggestions but never forced anything on us and during the wedding she was right there for anything that we needed. The Jones Victorian Estate is one of a kind. From the waterfalls to the lush landscaping, it is a truly magical place!

had the worst experience possible. I am the groom of the wedding and through out the entire process was alienated. If I had something to say about details I was told a couple times from the owner that it was the brides day. The coordinator is the owner and shes "IN CHARGE" as she rudely told me over a phone message. When the decided to bring in a new ceremony spot on their grounds, which would make set up much easier for them, they wanted to charge an extra $750 for nothing. When we asked them to break down the cost so we could understand the reason for it things got very nasty. We were told we should be grateful for having our event there and that their location is one of a kind. And once again was told that the coordinator is the one in charge, We really didn't have much say. You will have little to no control over your wedding at this location. They offered us our money back and after being treated with such disrespect we took it. This place will tell you how they are the greats thing on the planet but beware they are very very very unprofessional. I would never recommend having a wedding at this venue.

My husband (fiance at the time) and I stumbled upon The Jones Victorian Estate by mistake, but it was the best mistake we ever made. As soon as we turned into the gate and made our way up the beautiful drive-way we knew this was the place! We parked our car, walked around for a minute or two, and out popped Michelle! She greeted us with hugs and a "CONGRATULATIONS" - for not ever meeting her before, I felt as if she was a part of our family. We felt so comfortable with her and her attitude and genuine caring spirit is what sold us on The Estate, aside from how amazingly beautiful it is. Michelle is more organized than I am, and that's hard to do. Her experience working in this industry truly made a statement and made the planning experience uneventful. I don't remember being stressed at all during my planning process and I hear horror stories about brides and stress and that was something I never experienced. I am a detail oriented person, very maticulous, and somewhat picky, but Michelle was able to cater to my EVERY need as a bride. She understood all of my concepts and was able to make my dream wedding happen! It's hard to visualize what exactly you'll get when everything is just layed out on paper, but the day of the wedding, everything was in PERFECT order and Michelle was there with me every step of the way. I got lipstick on my dress and within seconds, Michelle was there with her Tide pen cleaning it up. She was also able to contain my husband's groomsmen because they can get somewhat rowdy, she made sure to limit there alcohol intake prior to wedding so there wasn't a "scene." Just going to the website doesn't even doing The Estate justice, you need to step on the grounds, feel the energy and love from Michelle, and you won't have to look any further! Dana K. I would give as many stars as possible to Michelle and the Jones Victorian Estate! My husband and I got married and had our reception there October 24, 2009. It was picture perfect and this was all thanks to our AMAZING wedding planner, Michelle who owns the estate. My husband and I were so lucky to have found this location for our big day. I am a super type A, attention to detail type and more than appreciated the same sort of attention to detail from Michelle. Everything I asked for was done - no questions asked, even including the color of the ribbon on the napkins was perfect. Everything was perfect. I didn't have to worry about any set up or tear down or favors or flowers, etc. etc. etc. as I have seen so many of my friends worry about and miss their own wedding! Not only was everything great and the food delicious, Michelle and her family became friends to my husband and me. You become one of Michelle's brides and she will never forget you and treat you with professional courtesy and respect. She does only one wedding per weekend so that she may focus all of her attention on you - it is really the perfect wedding spot! I still receive compliments on the wedding and how beautiful everything was and how great the food was and on and on. Michelle only works with the best! I just love this place and love the owner and cannot sing high enough praises! With regard for to the nasty review below, all I can say is - I feel sorry for his soon to be bride because there will be no pleasing him! If you can't work with Michelle and the Jones Victorian Estate - you can't work with anyone. Period.

What can I say our day was perfect. My husband and I look back at our pictures and keep saying lets get married again. Our wedding was October of last year and it was the most beautiful ceremony and reception anyone could experience. Michelle was wonderful, I could not have done it without her. She was always there with any questions or concerns I had. She made our dreams of our day more than I could have every hoped for. The day of the wedding Michelle even keep my grandkids busy so we could prepare for the ceremony, all the time making the final preparations. She is just amazing. From the beautiful flowers to the wonderful food. Everyone she recommended was so great to work with. Our DJ is a fireman like my husband and we even wore his dress uniform like the rest of the guys in the wedding. The music was so much fun, my husband even danced and that says alot, because would not normally do that. :) Our guests keep telling me it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Michelle Gregory from the Jones Victorian Estate helped me plan the wedding of my dreams. I remembered her from when my best friend Cristi got married years earlier. I loved how personable and professional she was then and I wasn't even the bride. She made my friend's day run so smooth and it was beautiful. Michelle has a gift and this is what she was born to do. I knew that one day I'd love to get married at her Estate because of it's outdoor beauty and elegance. When it was time for me to get married I contacted Michelle. I felt a connection with her right away. She was very accommodating and even tried to help us plan a beautiful wedding on a tight budget. She did EVERYTHING!!! I couldn't have done it without her and all her great ideas. We got married at the Jones Estate on August 29,2009 on the hottest day in August. Michelle made sure we were as comfortable as possible as well as or guests. Our day was absolutely stress free and she went above and beyond to make sure it was a special day for my husband and I. We made the right choice and I have the beautiful pictures to remember our special day. Thanks Michelle for making our day the most special day of our lives. My husband and I got married at the Jones Victorian Estate in Aug 2009 and had a wonderfull experience! From the start Michelle and her staff were so accomodating and helpfull that we just fell in love with the site. When you first drive up the private road its almost like driving back in time, its so secluded with wild flowers, roses and large eucalyptus trees. Once at the estate you can't help but notice the garden feel and old hospitality atmosphere. We wanted our wedding and reception site to be all outdoors, be private and intimat that we could enjoy. The planning proccess was so much fun! Michelle was available to go through flowers, cake, dj, photographer, decorations..etc and just made everything turn out magical. We wanted a bit of a beachy feel with the garden look and Michelle helped us to blend them together with keeping our ideas in mind. The proccess was so much fun I wish we could do it again! They even have there own parking and valet service! Our wedding day was just a dream, it was perfect. Every detail we had discussed and planned for all this time had come to life. Our colors were interpreted in every detail!! Till this day I still have compliments on our wedding from guests :) I would absolutly recommend the Jones Victorian Estate for a wedding and reception

Got married to the women of my dreams about a year ago and I really have only great things to say about the Jones Victorian Estate. The owner/ wedding coordinator, Michelle, was always available to meet with us to talk about any and all the wedding details. Even several months away when our wedding which probably wasn't the most pressing event coming up on her schedule, she always had time to meet with us, whenever we wanted. She always came with great idea's of her own, and she was always open to hearing our own idea's and pretty much made sure everything that we wanted (that was possible) was done. Several weeks before our actual wedding day, she made it possible for us to come to the Estate so we could practice our First Dance and on our wedding day she even rearranged the furniture inside the house so that we could practice our wedding dance minutes before we actually did it in front of our guests (my wife didn't need the extra practice... but suffice to say.. the groom (me) has 2 left feet). Price wise the Jones Estate is affordable (Orange County standards) considering the level of service and how beautiful and secluded the Estate actually is. You get valet service, a full wedding coordinator w/ Michelle, who takes care of all the nitty gritty details for you, her staff which provides bar service, catering, waiters, and waitresses making the sure all you're guests have drinks/ a plate of food in front of them, a bride and groom suite so that everyone can get ready on-site, as well as complete setup and cleanup. If you really want a place where you can just show up and have a good time the day of you're wedding, then this is it. Out of all of the wedding mumbo jumbo that is required, all we really had to do, was pick up the booze, choose a minister, and choose a photographer. Everything else is provided by the estate. But what really sold us on the Jones Victorian Estate was Michelle. Out of all of the other venues that we looked at, the Jones Victorian Estate was the only one that came with a full service wedding coordinator. She helps you along the way from start to finish and makes sure that everything is on time and there on you're big day. Most of the other places will offer you a wedding coordinator the day of you're wedding, but prior to you're wedding day... you are pretty much on your own. Wedding days are hectic, and having Michelle there to make sure that everything is on-time and even just making sure the bride and groom aren't consistantly wisked away by the photographers for more pictures just so they can eat was truely a must. I still have a hard time figuring out how things would of been run had we not gone with the Jones Victorian Estate.
