Peter is an awesome DJ! We had him do our cocktail hour and reception and all our guests loved the music he played. He was super easy to work with an showed up on time. He even stayed later than he was supposed to and didn't charge us extra for it! He really made our wedding fun and got all our guests up and dancing, even my dad who DOES NOT dance at all!

Peter was the DJ at my wedding reception in April 2010 at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. I could not have been happier with my decision to book him. He is responsive, professional, organized, friendly, and talented. My husband and I received so many compliments on him at our wedding. Even my parents (who were wary of finding a good DJ) were thrilled with him and are still commenting on how impressed they were with his speaking skills and professionalism.Our dinner/toasts were in a separate room than the dance floor. Peter set up a dual speaker system that was flawless.He also transitioned the wedding events very well and professionally. He is a great speaker and was not at all overbearing. My dad commented today that when he went up to the front of the room to make his toast, Peter had the foresight to hand my dad both the mic and a glass of champagne. (My dad had forgotten to bring his glass.) Peter really had everything covered and was always one step ahead.And of course, his music was amazing. The dance floor was packed and he read the guests very well. My husband and I highly recommend him.

Simply put, my husband and I never left the dance floor at our reception because Peter never stopped playing awesome music. Essentially the entire room became a dance floor because everyone was dancing. Peter was awesome to work with throughout our wedding planning. I sent him a very detailed play list about a week before the wedding (a little hyper-controlling on my part) and Peter was so gracious about accepting this list from me - he played everything on it that worked for the event and then many more songs I never would have thought of that were perfect to keep the energy up and fun all night. Peter is also very reasonably priced when I compared him to similar DJ packages and he was super easy to work with and made any adjustments that the venue and wedding planner asked of him. We loved Peter and will recommend him to all our friends getting married in Southern California (our wedding was in San Diego and he made the trip).

We were very pleased and happy with there services. The DJ's were great, they did an exceptional job. The dance floor was never empty and everyone had such a great time. Mary who took the pictures throughout the day did such a great job and was able to capture wonderful candid pictures throughout the night

Peter was absolutely fabulous! So much fun and created the perfect atmosphere to get everyone on the floor dancing--the old, the young, the hip, the traditional--all of our guests danced, even people who typically never dance were on the dance floor and having a blast! We could not have been happier with him! We look forward to working with him again at another event--he will always be our top choice for DJ!

If you're looking for a DJ, you can stop now that you've found Peter! My husband and I can't say enough about what a great experience we had working with him. (And this is coming from two people who were originally VERY opposed to having a DJ!) Peter is extremely organized, professional, and has a calm demeanor that is really appreciated on a busy wedding day. He played exactly the kind of music we wanted to hear and MC'd the events of the reception perfectly. All of our guests kept commenting on how great the music was. Overall, our wedding day definitely wouldn't have been the same without Peter as our DJ. Highly, highly recommended.

Peter was an awesome DJ for my wedding! He made the evening's events flow perfectly. And, the dance music was just our style! I would definitely use him again for other events!

I have to give Peter Papadopolous of Vive Entertainment RAVE reviews. Peter was a masterful master of ceremonies. He helped to keep me calm before & during the wedding, and provided me with an incredible music library to choose from. He took as long as was needed to help me choose my music, gave me great ideas for song choices, and was very patient with me. He responded in a timely manner to my calls and reassured me when I got flustered as the wedding drew near. We spent 3 hours going through just a portion of his music library and when he didn't have something in his library, he found it for me and added it to his collection as well. During the wedding he was the highest of professionals, incorporated all of my requests in terms of what to say and how to keep the evening running smoothly. He worked closely and successfully with my wedding coordinator and their teamwork made the evening go by so quickly we needed at least 5 more hours! Very importantly, he was respectful of my wishes not to play certain songs and also was willing to play music that my stepchildren requested by accessing them immediately even when they weren't on my playlist.He had a great sense of humor and knew how to improvise with my guests. He also incorporated our desire to have Greek dancing to start off the dancing.I was smart enough to book him way in advance as he has a very busy schedule and I know why. Needless to say, I found his services to be exceptional and when the opportunity arises again, I will absolutely hire him.

Vive provided not only awesome entertainment but they were extremely professional and obviously knew how to make the event go smoothly. They were able to read the room and provide music based on what would keep the party going. Also, they were very adept at controling all aspects of the evening to make sure everything happened on time with minimal interruptions...all in all I would highly recommend them to anyone I know without hesitation!

Peter was great!!! We had a daytime wedding and many of the hotel staff and guests commented that they had never witnessed a daytime wedding where there was so much dancing and fun music. We received comments that Peter was quick in playing requested music.He was the perfect MC, he never missed a beat!

HE was quite patient and very accomodating with all the kids at our wedding requesting songs!

I HIGHLY recommend Peter! He did the music for our ceremony, cocktail and reception. After meeting with him I was fully confident that he wouls deliver a great show. We loved Peter! He kept the dance floor full the entire night even my 82 old grandma was staying on the dance floor. Our reception had so much energy and our guests were having a great time. Peter but together a playlist based on personalities and the music we loved. He was able to mix my husband's love of 80's music and my love of country music & Britney Spears! We highly recommend Peter!

Peter at VIVE was the most classy and professional vendor at our wedding. At the pre-wedding meetings, Peter was informative, creative, punctual and thorough. It really made it easy for my wife and I to focus on other details before the wedding knowing that the DJ was experienced. On our wedding day, Peter's introductions, music, and timelines were perfect. He really set the pace and mood for our wedding, leaving the guests to rave about all the fun they had. Not only is Peter professional, fun, funny, and easy to work with, but he keep the dance floor packed during the entire reception. He is talented in providing a good variety of music that all ages can enjoy. He also provided us with 2 copies of all the songs that he played, which was very popular among our guests who wanted copies of it after the wedding. Besides the amazing venue, Peter definitely was the key to our fun and memorable reception!

Peter was fabulous! Our guests danced the night away and he mixed it up really well. I had a bit of trouble getting a hold of him for our first meeting, but other than that, he is a top notch, very classy DJ

Peter's thoroughness and preparation are really impressive. He met with us at some length beforehand to make sure he understood exactly how we wanted the reception to flow. He wanted understand the tone we wanted, the level of informality, what type of music we wanted, what specific tunes we wanted to play. He did a really good job as MC for the evening, keeping things moving and adding energy. He did a particularly good job of getting people up and dancing. Many of our friends said they thought he was outstanding. Our wedding coordinator said she thought he was the best she's worked with.
